Erin Frisch is a contemporary embroidery artist. She works in embroidery to capture images of everyday life. She enjoys documenting passing moments using the slow process of embroidery. She also finds inspiration in the landscape of her home state of Texas.
Erin has led community workshops at Oil and Cotton, Dallas Contemporary, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Meadows Museum, University of North Texas, Texas Women’s University, and the Penland School of Crafts Community Collaborations. Erin earned her M.A. in Art Education from UT Austin where she was an Education Fellow at the Blanton Museum of Art. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University. She is an educator at the Nasher Sculpture Center. |
